Department of Information Media and Environment Sciences

IThe Master's Program prepares independent graduates equipped with extensive goal-setting and achieving capabilities who can work as system development engineers, designers and system analysts to support core information systems and information-media technologies with an understanding of information system safety and information analysis. The Doctoral Program develops independent graduates with research creativity as well as advanced goal-setting and achieving capabilities who can create new information systems and information-media technologies as information system researchers, and can create advanced applied systems as researchers and developers with an understanding of information system safety and information analysis. The Master's Program provides educational research on techniques for the mathematical analysis of software and information processing technologies which gather information from the environment to construct new information environments; information media-oriented analysis, modeling and rendering techniques; information security and communication technologies for use in surrounding environments; and complex systems. The Doctoral Program pursues education and research on advanced, expert theories and methodologies in these fields.

Master's Program
Information Media Course
This course delivers comprehensive education on problem-solving techniques in the areas of semantic extraction from environmental and other media, information systematization, modeling, and data-base networks to develop graduates who possess extensive knowledge and technical skill in information media.
Master's Program
Environmental Mathematical Analysis Course
In the Master's Program, this course educates students on numerical and functional analysis methods to clarify complex natural systems and on system development using these methods, and develops graduates who can develop new systems based on mathematical considerations.
Doctoral Program The Doctoral Program in this course trains graduates who can work in a wide range of information and environment media-related fields as researchers, development engineers and environmental analysts supporting core information-media technologies. This is achieved by providing comprehensive education on information processing technologies for the creation of new information environments, information content-oriented information analysis, modeling and design techniques, and mathematical analysis techniques for use on complex systems.
